Help with Flow_List Script

This is basically a script to get text working with Flow_List. I've tried following the directions, but have no idea where to put the code (tried making a new layer and hitting F9, doing F9 in the same layer, clicking on the componen and doing it brings up errors)

Please help. I'm kinda new at this...
