::Re-designed Sites::

I've just completed extensive re-designs of my Flash-based personal and freelance sites:

http://www.markgoldstein.co.uk [Personal Site]

and

http://www.designauthor.com [Freelance Site]

I'd really appreciate it if you could take a look at one or both sites and let me know what you think.

Cheers,
Mark

in this site http://www.markgoldstein.co.uk/ watch out there is something wrong with the scroller when I first opened it I can drag it any way on the page but after a minute it stoped and it's ok , the other site is cool too

Did that happen before the News text file loaded? Or after? I'll have a look and see if I can find out what's causing the problem.

Thanks,

I wasn't going to remove it from the site if it works OK, but I will try to fix any problems with it...

Hi,

I've changed the colour-scheme of the entire site to something that's hopefully more clear and appealing:

Please take a look and let me know what you think...

Nice and usable layout/concept but very slow...? Why is this a flash site?

I looked as much as I could then gave up, too much load time. :\

On quick inspection, I would have to say, this color scheme is much more appealing. And I am going to have to ask the same as vilehelm...

I think the speed issue is to do with my hosting provider (http://www.bargainhost.com). Several people have previously pointed out that the site isn't the quickest to load, but the largest page is only 50Kb.

I'll have to moan at them some more :-(

i really like both ya sites, they have good navigation and nice colours, one of them did take a long time to load and do stuff when i clicked on things but i could tell it was the server being slow, very slow! its a shame coz you have put alot of effort into it and its kinda like "hey come look at my new funkay flash site that i spent ages making but it will take about 50million years to load!" i think you should line up the server pimps and kick em in the head one by one!
but anyways... there nice professional looking work and nice layouts, i cant really see anything bad about them :)

Thanks for the encouragement Beanz!

I think I'm just going to bite the bullet, lose some money and move the sites to a (better and more reliable) new host.
