Slow publishing... or crashing... why?

My Flash 4 seems to be dying. The publishing and exporting has gotten slower and slower... and now I cant seem to get the thing to even handle a really simple movie without stalling on me. I think that it has something to do with the movie I am putting together.

Any ideas? Could it have to do with the library? Buttons?

Also, parts of my movies run more slowly than other parts... I can tell from the animation. Is that normal?

Sounds more like a problem with your computer in general than with Flash if movies you play are showing signs of delay also...

Try asking Macromedia's Techs, that's what they're there for.
