Site Modification

Hi again, I have been working on a little different look for my site.
Its not finished all the way but I wanted to get some feedback. The misc section isnt up yet. Thanks for the comments.

Hey, nice navigation, i mean your gonna get the critics saying "bloody fancy nav, too much play and not enough userbility" - but its nice cos it locks into place.

Liked the bg on the site, could change for each catagory though,because not a lot else does, but i fully understand that its not finished.


Loaded nice and quick, and i am a dial up - great !

Obviously some nice script gone into that site, personally scripting like that to give the user such freedom of movement scares the sh*t out of me - so i was impressed.

Nice crisp, lightwieght, site - cannot wait to see it finished.

Hey Todd,

Nice to see your stuff again. It's always great to see your site progress and change so radically.

Personally I think this latest incarnation is my favourite so far.

Really simple and tight.

The graphics section works particularly well in that format. Although, I wasn't so sure that some of the images in the web section had the same impact, didn't seem quite so slick, but I think everyone has a problem trying to get screengrabs of sites to look presentable. :)

Slight, teeny tiny quibble which I'm not even sure I should mention - but has the orange text header for guestbook been given quite the same treatment as the other section headers? It seems to be lacking so much of the darker element that the others have and is receding into the background picture. Also, that particular title seems slightly out of alignment with the text you have in the other sections, could it do with being moved right a touch? (Also is it an illusion or is it not aligned to the same line as "section 0.2" either?) [see, I said I was quibbling!]

I really like the bg img you have chosen too, lovely texture and very enigmatic.

The large text you use in the private section for "restricted access" did strike me as a little out of place with the rest of site.

Anyhow, great work!

Thanks pinkaboo for the good comments, I see what you were talking about for the guestbook title. It is off a few pixels compared to the others. I will fix that. Im glad you like this one the best. I like to change the site up every now and then to try new things.
