I'm doing a language program. The text (buttons) are in khmer. When a user rolls over the button, the translation shows up. I created a variable text box on the bottom that is supposed to display the translation. How would i go about that? Thanks. :)

Howdy... :)
I am sorry to say this, but I feel like I am talking to a robot or cyborg... BCSA #13... Hehe... No offence though... :)
First of all... I have no idea what khmer is... What is it??? What kind of language is it??? Can you enlighten me???
Now... how do you want it to be??? Do you want the button that contains khmer to be exchanged to the button in English??? Or do you want a tool tip show up when the mouse cursor is on the khmer button??? First case would be done easily either by creating a button with its 'Over' state written in English, but then if you will have to create tons of buttons like this, then it will be painful process... If you need to do that with the tool tip, I saw a couple of tool tip components from the MM's exchange site... You might want to go take a look at it...
Thai ice tea??? Too sweat... :D

haha.. hey jason..
yea.. khmer is a language.. it's the official language spoken by cambodians.. i'm doing it for the khmer 1a class at uc berkeley.. and for our website..
the thing is.. i have the story written out.. it's in khmer.. like to help facilitate reading.. i wanted to have the user roll over a sentence he didn't get and then display that in english..
so far it works like this.. there's text.. when you roll over it.. it should say the translation at the bottom of the screen in the text field.. and when u click on it.. you hear a sound of my voice reading the text..
prior to attempting this.. i had to create the button in khmer.. then in the over and down states.. i had to put the english text at the bottom myself.. i'm looking for something easier.. by like setting a variable like Phrase = "translation" and then having the variable translation = phrase.. and displaying it..
i hope that makes it clearer.. thanks again.. and yea.. thai tea is a little sweet.. but so good! hehe
