Decompile from swf to AS 3

I lost my source files mostly the action script 3.0 source to my flex applicaiton. I really need to retreive the code or at least most of it from my swf compiled file.

Does anybody know a way how to decompile my swf file and extract the action script source from it? I tried some tool available for download, but all they've done is converting my swf file to .fla file.

I would really appreciate any input.

well your not going 2 get the flex source code back because all that is is XML that Flex uses 2 write a swf all in action script so that FLV is ur source in just actionscript try looking for a flex reverse builder 2 put them through

Is this revese builder part of the FLEX IDE or is it a third party software?

Anything that would retreive some of my action script will be great.

i dont know of one im saying you would need one to get the MXML data back but if all you want is the actionscript then just open the .flvs ur getting in flash and look at it in the actionscript view

When I decompile my swf file all I am getting is a .fla file and when I open it with Flash I can only see images and movie clips.

Can anyone help me how to extract the action script from that .fla file.

This works for flash files, but not Flex compiled files. Thanks anyways. I really need to extract the code from my swf it is 2 month worth of work.

If anyone can input and help would be greatly appreciated.

To recap I need to extract the action script code from swf file compiled with Flex 3 builder.
