Display NO Color swatch (X) in colorpicker?

I've scoured the docs at Adobe, but I can't seem to find an option to display "NO COLOR" as an option in the stock Flex 3 ColorPicker control. I'm looking for the effect that's typical in a colorpicker in many applications, including Adobe's, that displays a red slash in the colorpicker as an option.

I'm using a custom color list. I've tried using a value of "" or null and the SWFplayer just displays black.

Anyone have a line on how to display this?
