When exporting a movie to a video files (avi etc), animations inside movieclips are ignored and appear static..
Hasn`t this been addressed yet or is there a workaround for it other than animating everything on the main timeline??
Thanks.

That's just the way it is as far as I am aware... Flash just export what's on the main timeline... You need to look for a third party tool that does the job... I don't remember the name of the tool(s), but I know that's been discussed in the forum many times... You might want to search the forum for it..

You must convert an outputed .swf to a video format rather than exporting it from Flash...
Google for Moyea or Geovid...

thanks chaps,
just tried the demo of geovid, really smooth, i liked it..
would have been nice of macromedia or adobe to sort this though seems a fairly basic requirement considering the nature of the software..
Cheerz.
