I’ve been trying to put together a web site for a couple of weeks now. It’s a very simple site but the last time I built web sites with flash was years ago when Flash 4 was around and it was completely feasible to construct a site without using action script.

Now I’ve been struggling with Flash CS3 using action script 3.0 and I finally finished the site (with some help from this forum), however although the site looks exactly how I want it in Publish Preview (HTML and Flash) whenever I export the movie half of it isn’t there and the action script isn’t working!

I can’t begin to fathom why that would be, I need to get my web site up and running soon but I’ve hit a brick wall. So I appeal to anyone who knows their stuff or has encountered similar issues to enlighten me as to what exactly is wrong.

I would be happy to send anyone the source files if they think it would help.
Many Thanks.
