Screen readers & Flash 9

Could someone please tell me if something like this would be able to be read by a screen reader?

I build my calculators in Flash MX 2004 (yes I know, antiquated) and export as version 6.

In my HTML code if I had the CODEBASE as version 9 instead of 6 would my flash still work?
Also would it be able to be read by a screen reader or would I have to upgrade to Flash 9 to build them in?

The screen reader is always tricky... I don't think anybody can give you yes or no to your answer... I suggest you try multiple screen readers and test your product... and see if it really works to a degree you want...
