Simple XML Project

I am having trouble in setting up a simple timeline displaying xml data into attached movieclips.

I need help setting up alternating the movie clips, top, bottom

also i need to set up a way to order the data by year so that one could click a link and jump to a specific year on the time line.

If you can help that would be awasome. Payment is based on the work that is done and what you feel would be appropriate.
