Scrollbar not woking in MC

I have a dynamic text box and i attach a scroll bar (UI component), this works fine if it is on the root of my movie.

but i have that inside movie clips
e.g.
root - contentMC - page1MC - text areaMC -(txtboxwitscrollbar)

when its in the movie clip it disables - does not show the arrows or scroll or anything.

How do i solve this problem?

any help would be apreciated.

Does no one actually have an answer to this :confused:iv
searched google many a time, and there are no answers anywhere!

If you dont have a solution? can anyone suggest wher i can try to find one?
