View Full Version : What's the best MP4 converter?

Howdy;

I've got a couple of large MP4 videos (about 134 minutes long) and need to convert them to swfs or flvs. I've tried using Flash CS3 with the built in converter, but it tends to distort the video and shrinks it even though I do not adjust those settings. I need the details, so conpression may not be an option, which is fine. This will be an in house product over the LAN.

Perhaps there is a way Flash can play the MP4s directly without changing the format?

I'd appreciate any suggestions?

Thanks

Mike

Try online video converters.

use eRightsoft SUPER converter. It can convert anything and it is free.

Altough note that eRightSoft's website really stinks and its really hard to find the download link, although the product is great (the best, period), don't click on the Google Ad which is right beside the download link and end up downloading something else instead.

If you ask me, eRightSoft's SUPER converter is still the best, it has all the supposed "pro" functionalities (The one's you have to pay for) VidCrop Pro provides, and it's free. ;)

I think people would go for the free one.

SUPER converter is free and does whatever the other converters can do. And I just found out one more thing, if you want to convert multiple files, there is a workaround. Open up multiple copies of the software.

That's quite a lame workaround :rolleyes:

Granted it does work (I just tried it out) so sometimes the simplest workarounds can be the best.
