I have a flash project created by another developer and have a problem with it. The project loads external swfs created by swish into the main fla. I need to have everything in one flash file. It's a long horrible story as to why this is, but it just is.

Is it possible to put these swish files in my main fla, either by importing the swf into the fla or by putting the timeline or code from the swish file into my fla?

I have tried importing the swf into the library of the main flash, but it continually crashes flash CS3, on mac and PC. Makes me think this is not possible :)

I am unfamiliar with swish and wasn't sure how it intergated with flash. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

that is an excellent approach....i did not think to try that.

So, i pulled down so Think swf decompiler...free version to try...and it lost some stuff in translation. Is the problem that it is a trial version? Or just that it will come out a little messy? Any recommendations on different programs?

Thanks!

Didn't really look at the list... Thought there was some specific swi -> .fla converter/decompiler...

I have Sothink's decompiler, but never tried it on a .swi...

If you provide a link to one of these .swi, or attach it here, I can try it for you...

In fact, it seems this is not possible... You'll most like ly have to re-create the swish movies from scratch in Flash...
