ive just trying to get bakc into flash, never any good at it but it would be really helpful if u could give a few comments on it design wise.

it's realy hard to read, it looks as thaough your not too new to flash, only thing i can say is that i couldn't realy read any thing. jack up the contrast, other than that, looking good

done, i just dont want it to be plain black on white, so i went all adventures and went grey :P nm

as u can c in the index ive got som other flash stuff but nothing looks any good.
any ideas on colours i should use 4 background etc, cause if the contrast changes ive made dont work i need a bette pallete (i know i cant spel that work :( )

whats wrong with font/colour?
u want roman on white? there isnt anything really to look at except the text so would a lot more boring than it already is

but okay ive made the changes and upload it to /base.html

I had a look at the first font and colour
It was in my opinion just kinda ugly
BUT that doesn't mean you have to use roman on white

they sell bitmap fonts (good at small sizes) but their site uses colour and no roman fonts if you get the gist of what i'm saying...

this is were i was hoping u lot could help,

finiding a desent colour, cos all i normaly use it white and grey,trying to keep it simple and clean, yet again i changed the font,

the only reason i mention new roman was because it is the easyest font to read thats why it is used everywere, but because of this it is boring.

The times roman was bad because it was blurry and small (did you see how crisp the fonts on fontsforflash were?

"Simple and clean" doesn't mean it has to be black, grey and white!

Also I think one has to be careful with white backgrounds. I think light grey is to web pages as white is to paper. Just look at at so many software interfaces and you will see light grey. Sooo I think it can be good to start with a light grey background. White and black often seem a bit harsh for my eyes. I find it easier to add coloured fonts to a light grey background than to a white one... I like dark grey with fonts in white too. That might really work for your site? (i am rambling a bit, sorry)

Also I would like to see the flash centred on the page, not sitting on the top left. You could even have it resize to fit the browser window.

http://www.wpdfd.com might be a good place for you to read bout fonts.

I came accross a site that reminded me of yours and they used black and white quite successfully...

so maybe it is just a matter of centring the ani and perfecting the font...
I think your site is looking pretty good now anyway.

mez skint -no money- but ive got some good free fonts (pixel and others) got bout hundred or so fonts now, none them look that good cos there free, but i think i just start from fresh, id start making a new one anyway, propb is it looked to much like that minimal site u linked to, so thats down the drain,

thxs 4 the advice il take it on board nxt time i get around to flash :)

but for now im gonner try photo-shop c if i can make somert look good, i live in hope :P
