Hi everyone,
This may seem like a stupid question, but here it is:
I've converted and published my video in Flash, and now I have a swf file and an html file. I've noticed that if I just put the swf file on my website, the video plays just fine but the skin doesn't show up.
I'm pretty sure this has something to do with the html file not being included, but I'm afraid I have no idea what to do with it.
I do have the html file and AC file uploaded to the same directory as the swf file on the server, but my page's source code does not reference it.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Howdy and Welcome... :)
See what other SWF files you can find in that directory... You are looking for a SWF file that Flash use as a skin which are normally named like ClearExternalPlaySeekMute.swf or ClearOverPlaySeekMute.swf... Find that SWF and upload that to the web server where you have uploaded other files...

Thanks, I didn't see that file there!
Where exactly should I upload it to? Does it need to be in the page's main directory or in the same directory with the flash file?
Do I need to reference this file in the page's html?
Thanks again,
bob

I think this page will give you general idea on what you need to do with the skin SWF file... Go check it out...

Thanks. I read it (and learned some useful information), but it didn't answer my question.
What I need to know is: what do I do with the skin swf file? Do I put it in the same directory with the other files flash gave me after publishing (swf, html, and AC_RunActiveContent.js)?
Also, do I need to incorporate the skin swf into html for the page on which the flash video appears?
Thanks again for being patient with me..

Yes, you do need to place that skin SWF file into the same directory... But I thought that you said that you were not able to find the skin SWF file, so I gave you the URL where you can read more on that...
No, you don't need to do anything in the HTML file... Your SWF file will load in the skin SWF file automatically...
