Font question

If I am using text in Flash using the type tool, is there anything special I need to do to make sure others can see it even if they don't have that font? right now I am only using tahoma and myriad which i think most people would have, but just want to be safe.

Embed the fonts.
The option is located near the right side of the properties panel.

Do I have to do that within every movie clip that contains text or just once?

Apply it to each unique instance of a textfield.
Copies of a textfield with fonts embedded will inherit the setting.

For example, you create button with a nested text label with fonts embedded.
Copies (instances) of this button will also have fonts embedded.
