Cool transitions?

Hey everyone

I'm making a really cool AS3 site, and I'm looking for inspiration for a cool transition.

I have to go from a black screen to an image, and I've looked at some masking possibilities and the TransitionManager, but I'm not really liking it.

Does anyone have examples of some cool flash transitions?

I'm thinking it could be cool to have that "someone thorws paint at my screen" transition, where the image reveals as the paint moves down the screen?

i could see it working if you made a paint splat animation and then you have certain variables like different random areas that the splats can hit.. and then random sizing and such.. and have a container that is the target mask and add instances of the paint splat to the mask container.. there is a free font out there i think of different paint splats you could always pick out a few to make the splats more random too..
