Actionscript madness

:confused:Yea, hey, im tryin pick up on modding freeware (madness-interactive). When modding a game the actionscript isn't as simple as a movie or the newbies seletion of scripts in Flash 8 pro. But i can't understand actionscript, i tried, i really did ;). I was wondering if there is a list or something of some sort that had actions or operations already actionscripted, so i could copy and paste and skip the headache of gibber jabber?:eek: any help would be much appreciated, thx

sorry but to understand how to actionscript, you have to learn to actionscript. There's no way you'll be able to copy and paste to make an entire game or mod a very complex existing game unless you just want to change some numbers around.

Flash has a "easy mode" for AS that has a list of all actions. You should see it on the left part of the actions panel, or you can browse through stuff by clicking the + sign in the actions panel. It's up there with the auto format button, check for errors, etc buttons.
