Tanks for the response!
About the animation:
I used Lightwave+swift3D plugin to render, but the lines was messed up, strange! I will remake it when I have some time to spare...
Resolution:
The porfolio is first of all ment for webstudios, that might give me a job, so the avarge user isnīt the main target. But I first made it 800px wide, but then everything was to small.
BirdOnWire:
I would like to make some 3D work for you. What do you have in mind?

Well.
Do you want me to make a backgroung img for you or just help you to create one? Do you have any 3D knowledge?
Just so you know... I havenīt created so many "abstract 3D" imgaes, mostly "real object 3D"...

For a little money you can now buy a great 3d program called truespace. No one who is really into 3d will tell you that this program is good, but I've had experience with 3ds-max (experience in getting confused at least) and I have tried others (Rhino, Blender, Lightwave, Maya, etc) and I have to say that Truespace is by far the easiest for a beginner to pick up and do some serious work.
The program itself in its latest release can cost up to 800 bones (USD) but they are selling their earlier versions much cheaper.
The only issue I had with the old vers and flash is that they do not have a direct output into flash. Only version 5.2 and up supports that.
But I rarely output 3d vector art, i usually do something like:
http://www.phrequency.net/layout-master.html
Click the far right button
(200K with no preloader - Its a mock-up work in progress which is very flakey at the moment, not even close to being complete, in fact the ver I have at home looks totally different.)
But you can use truespace3+ to create 3d objects, render as jpgs or png and import into flash. If its animation, you can render each frame, crop in photoshop and import into flash.
Goto: http://www.caligari.com to learn more about Truespace

I can create a image for you, but I want to know exacly what you have in minde.
Beginning with Treuspace is a geat idea, but I actualy would recomend you to try the demos of diffirent softwares, just to see if you would like to get into the 3D world.

yeah, thats what i was asking, if you thought it would benefit from a nice background image... I'll take that as a yes :) Any suggestions on how to go about making/getting one if I've got no programs for it, and no graphic design experience? Thats why I just stuck with my flash tools, i couldnt figure out a way around it.... Thanks again :)

Hurrah for trueSpace! trueSpace was what got me into 3d, ever since I picked up a book called "Becoming a Computer Animator" or something, that had a demo copy of tS1.0. Those were the days....
It is definately a good package to get you going, and gets more powerful all the time.

Btw, nice site. I would have enjoyed it more had it not resized my browser. I hate that so much....
I like how you went between animated line-3d to photorealistic renders. I'm planning on using a similar concept for an upcoming animation myself.

Hey LuxFx, have you played with the TS facial animator?
Amazing stuff....
Its about time too that 5.2 has direct export to SWF, very slick!
Finally someone who thinks Truespace is cool...
Rock on!

It really nice although I am sick and tied of people maximising my window... There should be a law against it...
You could speed up the ani's so the site looks empowered as well
good luck
