for your first site , u have done a great job , but here are some critics that may help you get better
1- reduce the use of built in buttons in flash , one becaues they r old enough and two because they don't suite ur site
2- try to use the max allowed space of the browser cause the white bg is a little bit bad , make ur movie 780x450 or something!
3-do something with the loading, I don't have to wait everytime I click a button!
Good Job anyway;)

Thanks for your input bird on a wire!!
I do not understand the concept of "built in buttons" but it sounds like you have
a good thing in mind for me to improve my site. Could you please explain the concept to me?
What could I do with the loading???
The site contains pictures and I have tried to get the downloading times down by compressing them.
Is there any other way?
Greatful for your advice!!!
Thanks

well built in buttons is no concept but , you used the buttons that come with flash in the common Lib. it's not wrong but sounds unprofessional at all, why don't u make your own buttons which suit the site more , that's it , if you don't know how to make them then I can help !
well about the loading thing , just make a little number of movies, everyone holds a whole section, it's better to wait until the section load more than to wait everytime I click on anything!
thnx
take care;)

They say "One image is worth thousand words...!" :)
In your case it's much more than a thousand...

hey Annika! Nice work.
I just have aa opinion regarding the images on the site. I think it's very important to try to make the site as fast to load as possible. Although, I think you've compressed the images on your site a little too much. On some of the pictures, I can actually see the pixels...! Jpg-compression sux in that matter.
It's hard to weigh image-quality vs. loading-time.
Otherwise, well done.

great job! a very clear layout, and a good showcase for your work.
two things I think could use work:
1) type layout in the first page. you have "commercial photography" and "& stock image licensing" in two different areas, although they are apparently part of the same phrase. This isn't great for legibility, you might want to work on your placement here.
2) in your portfolio, the "click on images to enlarge them" message is always visible, even in the enlarged images. This was a little confusing, at first I thought, "All right! I bet if I can click on this again it will open a new window with an even larger image!"
*********
I am still drooling over your photography. You have amazing work, and it looks like you've been able to travel to some wonderful places.

i dont get what everyone sees in this site...i understand it's your first one but it just seems like fffs to me (flash for flash's sake)
this site could've easily been done in html...
but keep working...its fast enough so add some complex animation to make it worth such a powerful application as flash.
