As many businesses still code in actionscript 2.0 and I was wondering if anyone had a tutorial or article about switching from AS 3 to AS 2. I will still be learning AS 3, I just want to know how to learn AS 2.0 from AS 3.0.

Many of the tutorials are the opposite, which kind of help, but don't explain fully the code for actionscript 2.0, as it assumes you already know.

2.0 is simple enough that you don't need to find any 3.0 to 2.0 tutorial. Just find some basic tutorials for 2.0 and you shouldn't have any trouble learning the ends and outs of the language.

That may be easy to say, but there are a lot of assumptions that an AS3 developer might be making that just aren't true for AS2.

I think your best bet might be to keep with the AS2 - AS3 guides looking at them backwards. I don't think you'll find much going the other way since everyone wants to be moving towards AS3, not from it.

The migration guide should be a big help:

Also, AS2 tutorials / sources have certain amateurish tendency =) Because they ware written by amateur coders (like me for eg :p ) years ago... But, if you prefer to learn from others code rather than from reading explanations, here's a good set of classes for many different purposes:
