weirdest problem I ever had. I recently updated a site done in flash 8 AS1 and made some changes and publsihed to Flash 8 action script2. Something I've never done before

Locally everything works fine. On the net it is hit or miss. 80 % of the time it works fine, the other 20, none of the flash funtionality works. This is an FLV player in a loaded SWF
To fix it I refresh the browser and all is well again.

site is pretty simple main movie loading SWFs onto layers. Only swf I added is the one with FLV player. I am thinking something in the code switch from 1 to 2 but if it works fine sometimes, I can't image what it could be.

any thought on where to trouble shoot would be appreciated.

What actually happens 20% of the time?

Are you talking about the first 2 minutes trailer at the start? Is that the .swf with the flv player?

Yes the opening section with the playing movies is the problem. This is the added swf . What happesn is sometimes the move doesn't stream or any or the video control buttons work. Or the ability to load the other movie choice. Basically the funtionality stops. But refresh...and all is working

Guess I'd need to see both your main .fla and that loaded.swf (with the flv player) .fla also...

I would really appreciate it. A ziped version of the two FLAS in questionis about 17MB. How best to get to you.

file structure is simple.

Main.fla is in root it loads
Loaded .fla in folder /SWF
flvs are in /SWF/FLV folder
