Is there a way to change the quality of an individual movieclip without changing the quality of the entire movie? Or maybe change the quality of just one level?

I wish! But as far as I know of....no. The _quality parameter is a global value. Let's hope this is something that goes on v7.0's list. But for now, I'm pretty sure this isn't possible.

That's probably on the Flash 7.0 wishlist... :)
