Hello, I just received Macromedia Flash MX 2002 from a friend. I feel like this is a dumb question, but what Actionscript Version would that be? Also, where should I start in the Tutorials section? I'm quite confused about all of this and any help would be a great thing.

I've never seen a version named MX2002, only MX2004. Thus you must be referring to Flash MX that followed Flash 5.

Flash MX could only use AS1.0.

MX2004 (Flash 7) introduced AS2 - though that's really only an additional syntax for classes along with everything AS1. The only "new" language is AS3 (which is technically the second version of ActionScript). That was introduced in Flash CS3 (Flash 9)
