starting standalone flashplayer from IE

I made another game wich works pretty fine in standalone ('external') flash player (wich starts normaly when I double click a swf file). When I start it from IE (same dimensions as from standalone player) the animations get 'jumpy' (like I have too slow computer).
So I thought if there is a way to somehow start external flash standalone player from IE. If you have any idea; post reply.

just went through a lot of paper and few comments say it is impossible for security reasons and that it is doable by making a projector file and making a link on it.

I already knew that but that makes a file lot bigger. Guess I don't have much choise..
