Hi,
Have just started to use Flash tonight and have managed to create a button! However, after looking on your forums I can't find how I save it and use it in Dreamweaver?? I know it is probably something very simple but I can't work it out.
I published it and saved it then tied to place it in Dreamweaver and it is not working, I will attach a copy of it and maybe you can see if I have done something wrong.
Also, less importantly - how do I make it so there is not as much background around the button - is there a way i can "cut" around the image and make it smaller without making the picture smaller.
I have a major project due and am fast running out of time - this is the only part of the website I can't do - please help me!!

Thanks in advance,

p.s. hope this all makes sense i have been up for a long time
p.p.s couldn't attach the file

in dreamweaver there is a button that is for importing swf's. It looks like a swf icon, and you can just drag and drop into the page you want to put it in. Then just specify the location of the swf. (After having exported it).

well when you do place it in dreamweaver, it is a gray box, with the flash logo in the center.

Also, if you go to properties bar (if you have Dreamweaver mx) you can click play and the movie will play for you there and then without publishing.

Also, publish the html file on live browser and you can see the swf is actually orking, (locally)
