View Full Version : MX & 5 happy on same machine???

Hi,

First time posting here...

Does anyone know if both MX & 5 can be installed on the same machine? Long story, but for my work I need to have both installed on the same computer. Currently, I bounce back and forth between 2 machines to get my job done.

I thought I saw a post saying the I could, but I just wanted to confirm.

Do you know if there are any funky install scenarios? For example, do I need to place MX in a separate file or anything?

Sorry...forgot to say that I have a full version of 5 and only an upgrade to MX.

Anyway to still install both?

I am afraid I can't help you with this :(

I have full install of both versions, and I don't know what happens when you upgrade... When I installed (full) MX after Flash 5, program automaticaly created another folder for it in: C:\Program Files\Macromedia

I tried installing the upgrade and it automatically kept Flash 5. Very cool.
