Got a comment, and went to reply but didn't see it so was wondering if I should be logging into the CMS to approve or if admins do that.
Thanks :)

Sorry... I've been busy, read lazy... :(
Yeah... The comments need to be approved by the moderators so that you will be able to see it... I don't believe an author can moderate the comment by themselves... Not sure if such functionality is built in though...
We need to moderate the comments first hand due to the amount of the spams we get through the comments... It's gotten down quite a bit now, but I still get to delete alot of spams... :(
I guess the notification flow in the CMS do not quite correct... If somebody posts a comment, it goes to the moderation queue, where a notification email to a moderator would be nice but missing, and we approve/disapprove them... and if we do approve them, the CMS should notify the author so that they know somebody added the comments... But it seems it is working sorta backward... :(

Hm... I approved two that were in the queue when you posted this thread... and I just approved four more... Not sure any of those are for your article though...

hmm, weird. this was the email notification I got on Tuesday:
Hi Patrick Cousins, A comment was posted about one of your articles on ActionScript.org Flash, Flex and ActionScript Resources. Article: Centralized Event Management in ActionScript 3 Article URL: http://www.actionscript.org/resources/articles/829/6/Centralized-Event-Management-in-ActionScript-3/Page6.html Comment: This is a fantastic tutorial and I have been scouring the internet to try and find something like this for many days now! I followed it to the letter in order to implement it into my current project but have found that the event listeners are registering but they are not actually carrying out the event handler functions!!! Do you know of any simple step I may have missed out - that this would be the case? Much obliged... http://www.actionscript.org/resources/admin/index.php?ToDo=viewComments

Um... I honestly have no clue... But something seems to be wrong... I cannot really 'search' for the comment in the CMS, but I do see that there is no comment between 11/29 ~ 12/2... I have no idea if there was any failure on the server side...
OAN, can you attach the accompanying files to the CMS??? We'd like to keep everything in one place... We've seen several cases where an old tutorials lose connection to the external source...
