i had to revert my browser to ie5.5 to do some testing. along the way i lost some functionality with flash and am wondering what happened.
problem 1) variables appended to the filename no longer work.
example: "testletHdrHoriz.swf?hdrName=Header1"
this works in NN4.7 and NN6.2+ but not in IE anymore
problem 2) unicode special characters not displaying
example: "(2) Kevéssé biztos"
with this text the "é" does not display in the swf. this worked in ie6, but when i went back to v5.5 it got horked.
the best part is that now both problems persist over both browser versions. i'm so glad MS decided to link their browser and OS. any ideas?
