Does anyone know of a software opensource/freeware or shareware that i can put in a directory of a whole bunch of files that will let the user easily search through the files.
in other words when they go to the page with the script there will be a searchbox, they type in a name, hit search and up will come any files related to that name.
i was attempting to index it in mysql but failed miserably, but i figure i need this to be dynamic so was wondering if theres a decent java script out there, a flash component, a java applet or a something i can do with php.
