focus of a component

i have a combobox component, and when i select something from the combobox, and i go to an input text, then my combobox is still focussed, and when i enter a letter in the input text, the combobox changes to the first item in the list with the same letter as what i entered in the textfield.

Is there a way do unfocus the combobox??
