I just upgraded from mx2004 to cs4, and was very disappointed that I cannot find one of my crutches.

In mx2004 under the help menu there was an actionscript library that contained every command and what I does and how to use it.

Am I missing something here?

CS3 had a very nice offline help and AS reference. Unfortunately, I could not find that in CS4. To make up for this, I just downloaded the AS3 language and components reference available here: http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/ Just look on the right sidebar under Flash Documentation. It is available for download as a 7 MB zip file.

F1 will still get you the language reference, it's just viewed in the browser now.

True concern, this browser based help and LiveDocs in general is quite a pain, it's slow, overloaded, back buttons don't work at all times, search is clumsy, etc.
