Embedded SWF files not loading properly in IE

i figured it out - i had a layer underneath it's target in actionscript and that caused all the shenanigans. was able to fix it a few minutes after this post

Don't know what you actually mean by not working great on IE, and although somewhat slower than on FF, it seems to work relatively welll on IE7.0 and my PC.
Curiously, a lot of pages don't even load on FF, even after a refresh... Same for Safari for Windows... A lot of pages don't load!
