Hail...

for easy arrangement ( when you want to make e preload for your site its nice to put in a different scene )...
also in interactive movies with forms and buttons... it should be gr8 to use different scenes....
and as the flash5 help said :

To organize a movie thematically, you can use scenes. For example, you might use separate scenes for an introduction, a loading message, and credits.

scenes are gr8 man :D

Or, you could just use layers and keyframes - all labelled well.

Makes it so much easier, that would be my advice to you. Seriously, scenes can become a real pain in the ass !

The number of times you here of problems regarding pathing etc, its nearly always the same answer "throw scenes in the bin" my adivce to you would be to do that, after all you can achieve exactly the same affect.

Scenes are evil !

But don't take my word for it :

I stand behind snapple (far enough to not get too personal, but close enough to not get hit by rotting fruit and eggs ;) ) !

Scenes are evil ! They can't be targeted from anywhere except the main timeline and they screw up your frame count. (if scene 1 has 10 frames, then frame 3 frame scene 2 is in fact frame 13 from the main timeline, thus proving how deceptive and evil scenes in fact are ! They give you a false sense of control, but meanwhile they make it harder for you !)

Thanx, you sparked an idea that helped me to clear up my other problem here:
