goto command help

Im new to actionscript and have never been able to make a goto command work succesfully. I have a simple animation (some fighting stick figures) and at a point in the Scene I would like it to gotoAndPlay the first frame in Scene 2. I don't really know what Im doing though and looking on the web for answers just leads me to pages of other peoples problems whose solutions don't fit my situaition. Any help would be appriciated

On the frame, add


gotoAndPlay("Scene 2", 1)

that worked, though i still get error 1067
