Well, I would first make arrays of the URIs of all the photographs and their respective thumbnails. The photo viewer module, I'm thinking, could just be pulled off with resizing a movieclip. Scrolling through the thumbnails looks like it's sensitive to the cursor's position with respect to the center of the box.

should I make the thunmbails of the pictures ? can't i just use the original pictures and resize them ?

Is it too slow to load ?

Could you suggest me how to handle the movement of the bar ?

It's just a little math and cursor position stuff...

If the cursor is to the left of the center of the thumbnail set, scroll left unless you reached the end. Opposite for right...
