I'm encoding a Quicktime movie into flv
my video has elements which are more animation like rather than live video.
As flv compresses the movie to web size the quality mainly suffers in these animation fragments. Anyone knows if there is a way to address it... perhaps with a different encoder? I'm using On2 VP6 currently
My main concern is the loss of defined edge in the areas of horizontal yellow/black stripes

here's a preview, first visible as straight Quicktime movie and then as flv

If weight is not an issue, don't use a .flv, but an H264 QT movie directly.

As ASF8 recently suggested, have a read...

yeah, the size will be a problem
it doesn't really resolve the specific quality issue either, it just makes it look different with different set of quality loss
i'll just go with what it is, oh well
thanks
