..not having the source fla anymore? I had a flash video done a while ago but apparently the size isnt right for uploading on YouTube or being converted with any convertion software around. Apparently the file size is .. illegal (??) because not divisible by 16. Unfortunately i do not have the fla anymore. Any idea of what i can do to do this? Thanks!

**By size i mean width and lenght as opposed to file weight. thanks!**

Provide a link to the .swf or attach it here if not too large.

(ive also, while waiting for a reply, tried opening up a new fla, importing the swf, resized it, resized the document, made x and y 0, saved it, published it. i still get the same error!)

Your movie is 360*280... The closest 4/3 aspect ratio size (disivible by 16) would be 352*264...

the question is...how would i resize it not having the original fla?

the question is...how would i resize it not having the original fla?

or even, how can i upload it onto youtube? it keeps telling me "couldnt encode video file" and i really dont understand where this comes from, apart from this illegal size... hmm.

Well that one is 352*264, so it is divisible by 16...
Thus that's most likely not the reason why it doesn't work...

yeah thats probably not it.

Any other idea?

thanks for your help.
