resize bmp in flash ?

if I want to resize a bitmap in flash it loose quality.

Should I always keep the real bmp file in order to resize it with photoshop and import it again ?

Or is it possible to do it in flash ?

That will be ideal... Flash does not do good job on resizing images if you ask me...
