Hi,
I created an application of jumping letters. Now I am creating another application, but I would to put the first animation into the second one as a movie clip.
How can I do it?
Thanks,
YH

Depends on what you have going on there. Select all the frames you want, right click, choose to copy those frames....Then you want to Insert->New Symbol (Ctrl+F8) and then select the same area as what you copied (frames) and right click...choose to paste those frames. Layer names should still be intact. Now you are IN THAT MOVIE CLIP. Open up the Library. See it?
Double click out of there (on the Stage) and you should now be able to drag and drop that clip you just made. So you want it in another .fla? Open THAT one up while you still have the Library open and you can then drag it into the NEW .fla's Library.
Make sense?

Thanks for the answer.
I did what you told me, I am getting this new clip, but when put it on the new .fla and I try to play it - it reminds static, the letters are not jumping.
It looks that the actionscript is not working.
I am going to read more about this problem, but if you have out of hand suggestion, I'll be happy to hear it,
Thanks again,

I bet it's a pathing issue. Check references to _root......and other clips..
