Camera Quality compared to RTMP stream

I have an application where I am trying to bring the local video into flash.
When I use flash server, the quality is great.
When I use getcamera, the quality is horrible no matter what settings I apply to the getcamera.

Is there a way to capture the camera at the highest settings possible?

what does this mean... using the video thru the server u need to use camera object..
can you post in ur code.. so that we can dig in more

Your probably looking at what your camera looks like on the stage and when the quality goes bad is what your stream looks like when your live.

Use setMode to change quality. Remember that the codec is Spark so your not going to get great quality.
