I'm really confused by this.. I have the same font (at the same size, same weight (bold), same type (dynamic), same anti-alias setting) in two different places in my current project and I can't get both to look the same. One looks nice and sharp, the other is fuzzy. I've tried fiddling around with embedding/not embedding.. auto kern.. everything I can think of and I can NOT get the font in my menu system to look as good as the text box below it. Here's a screenshot of what I mean :

All text boxes are on whole pixels, so no fractional x/y coords.
I have no idea what to try next.. any ideas?
