Detecting the user browser

How do you do it? Im sure theres a tutorial on it but I cant find it. I want flash to know if the user is using IE and then change the color of parts of the movie. Can anyone help?

wow that is a huge avatar dude. im not sure i fully understand your question, but i think this http://www.moock.org/webdesign/flash/detection/moockfpi/ might be what you are looking for. as for the second part to your question you will have to be a little more clear.
