Best way to create an AVI file

I'm trying to export my animation I have created in Flash to an AVI file. Some animations are in movieclips so I cannot just export > AVI.

I was wondering what would be a good method to go for. I have tried converting my SWF file to an AVI but the quality wasn't that good ):

I've got lots of different software on my computer I could probably use but I don't know what would be the best!

Has anyone done this before? or have any idea's?

There is this software called Flashants SWFtoVideo converter. It works very well and even calculates actionscript and nested animations. Sadly you have to pay for it. You can give it a try though.

Or you could use any screen capturing software and change the format using something like SuperConverter, its all a matter of personal preference. Personally, I feel that SWFtoVideo converter works better.
