View Full Version : saving text files from f6 player

I want to open files from hdd and then save them back again from my projector exe file, ideally with the std windows file open and save dialogs. I understand this can't be done with core as/flash functionality and that I need a third party tool/batch file to be called with fscommand...

swf studio looks promising but I have had no luck with it - I downloaded trial, included their nonstandard fscommands in my movie, then used swf studio to make exe's but they don't work...any suggestions?

There seem to be lots of posts on this but no solutions!:( Thanks in advance!

thanks fara,

unfortunately I know nothing about batch files and I'm probably being dense but can't see a utility at the link you gave that would do this for me...?

The project I need it for is a projecor file that will act as a gui for creating fusedocs ( see alpha alpha version at http://www.dynamitechicken.com/fusedocmaker.html) and I was hoping that other people who are interested in fusedocs too (if I can find any:)) could work on it too, so I want the simplest, most transparent solution that doesn't require others to be using swfstudio or whatever...maybe that's not going to happen...I would have thought that this would be a really basic requirement for people making apps for the player, maybe I should add to that old wish list!;)

thx anyway,
