Sound

Hi,
I created a HTML document, where there is a background music from a midi file from <BGSOUND SRC=...>.
I would like to include the music as an object in .FLA.
When I converted it to .mp3 file, the import of MP3 is not working. I converted it to .wav and the import of .wav is working, but the .wav file is 28Mb.
Should I leave it as MIDI played by HTML, or there is a simple way to include as not to big object?

flash converts the wav to mp3 when you publish the swf

Actualy I thought it does so only when I check the override sound settings in the publish setting, not by default??

well its not hard to test

import a sound, publish it and listen - I guarantee it will sound like a 16kbs mp3 and not the original wav.

you don't musical ears to tell the difference between an uncompressed audio file and a 16kbs mp3 :)
