has anyone seen this before...
the end of an mc containing a text is cut off
there's no masks involved here and in Flash environment everything looks ok, in browser however - it chops it off

i have the same problem, but it happens even with normal static text IF you apply any filter to it. But when no filter applied, then its ok

Hi this might be due to the Anti Alias of the type face, in the properties area change ro Anti-Alias for Animation, or try readability. Failing that then try making it a MovieClip

making it into a graphic rather than text is a possibility yes
i found this workaround:
add a period after your text and make it tiny, 3-5 points, additionally you can set the color of the period to the color of the background the text is sitting on. For me that totally fixes things and even though I apply glow filter to the text, the period is so small it does not even get affected by it, nor is it visible in regular state.
hope this helps

thats a good idea.
more than that, you can make periods color with 0% alpha.

Actually if the text is not a logo or any bit of super important text, you can just ignore it, no one is going to scrutinize every letter you type to see if its chopped off, I bet you at font size 12 to 14, the chopping of is barely visible if the text is let's say, a part of a big paragraph.
