[CS4] Problems typing and deleting text in Actions panel

I recently upgraded to Flash CS4 and since then in both Flash CS3 and CS4 I am having trouble typing actionscript the Actions panel.

The cursor does not end up where I think it will be. It's always 1 or 2 characters over from where I place the cursor.

Also have problems selecting actionscript text. When I drag my mouse over some text to delete it, it deletes more and sometimes less than what I really wanted to select.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I would try uninstalling and reinstalling CS4.

You mentioned you have trouble in both CS3 and CS4.
If you have both versions installed on your machine, you may want to try removing one or the other.

That will most likely solve your problem.
