dynamic text boxes 'jiggling' when flv plays

this one has got me stumped. I've got several clips, each clip has several layers with dynamic text, masks and container mcs which load an swf which in turn plays/prog downloads an .flv.

this all works and what actually happens is when you rollover one of the clips, the container mc with the .flv in it fades in and starts playing.

the problem is that dynamic text in the other clips starts to 'jiggle' (appears to be moving around erratically by a pixel or so) when you mouse over a particular clip and it's flv starts to play.

now that i look at it again, it seems to only affect the first clip on the screen (really there's three columns of clips)....

basically it's a clip attached from the library so it makes no sense that it would happen always to the first and not the others...

anyone else experienced anything like this? argggh!

check the _x and _y co ordinates of the text box and make sure they ar whole numbers not a decimal

The text boxes and all parent clips are on whole numbers. I am using a class that manages the position of items on the stage. In other words, if you resize the window, my flash elements stay centered nicely.

It's weird, if you resize the stage/window, different text boxes in that same clip seem to do it (wiggle) as well.

put my dynamic text boxes into clips and turned on 'cacheAsBitmap' after i assign the text value. cleared the jiggling right up!
